NIC Public Talk in English on 23 Dec -

In recognition of Paramahansa Yoganandaji’s spiritual stature, and his far-reaching contributions to mankind, the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India has decided to celebrate his 125th Birth Anniversary in the year 2018-19 (https://indiaculture.nic.in/currents) by promoting the awareness of meditation.

As part of these celebrations, public talks are being organized in various cities for the benefit of the society at-large. The talks focus on Paramahansaji’s teachings on the art of balanced living,  and yoga meditation techniques for the health, peace and prosperity of individuals. 

In association with the Government, spiritual discourse by YSS is being  held at Visakhapatnam, in December 2018. The schedule of this public talk is as follows:

1) Date: Sunday, 23 Dec, 2018 (in English & Telugu)

    Timings: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

    Venue: VUDA Children's Arena, 1st Floor, Siripuram, Visakhapatnam .All are welcome.

About the Speaker

Swami Smaranandaji's profile: 

Swami Smarananda Giri, is a Sannyasi of YSS. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1980. He recieved Gold medal in the state during the school final examinations; and also another Gold medal in the University for topping in Engineering. IIT Kharagpur conferred on him the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2018 for his outstanding achievements and contributions.
